Mahindra Mini-Xylo Hatchback soon to get launched in India

New Mahindra Mini-Xylo Hatchback

Mahindra is now planning to launch a smaller version of the Xylo, named as Mahindra Mini-Xylo. It should be noted that the mini Xylo uses a shortened version of the present Xylo’s body-on-frame chassis and the engine capacity has been reduced from 2.5-litres to under 1.5-litres by eliminating one cylinder and reducing the bore and stroke.

This new Mahindra Mini-Xylo, a new Hatchback vehicle in the B+ segment, features a 1498cc, 3 cylinder Diesel engine. The maximum power as well as the maximum torque that can be generated by this new Diesel engine is yet to get revealed by the officials. The mini Xylo will only have two rows of seats and hence a maximum seating capacity for five passengers.

This new Mahindra Mini-Xylo with a 5-Speed Manual transmission will feature Independent Coil Springs as well as Multi Link Coil Springs Suspensions in it. This new Mahindra hatchback will also feature Front Disk Brake and Rear Drum Brake. The other notable point is that since this new Mini-Xylo is less than four metres, it will avail the 12 percent duty cut as well.

This new Hatchback, Mahindra Mini-Xylo is expected to be launched by mid-2011 and might have a price tag of around Rs 5 lakhs (ex-showroom Mumbai).

The much awaited 4×4 off-roader, Mahindra Thar is being launched in India and is targeted at the offroading enthusiasts, retro look seekers & people wanting to make a unique style statement. This new Mahindra Thar, a typical SUV in the C segment, is a true blue, stylish off roader, which is an evolved version of the Mahindra CJ340, the MM 540, the Classic and the Legend. Simply, this new Mahindra Thar is now all set to chart a new terrain in the Indian automobile industry.

Mahindra Thar is available with two engine options: CRDe and Di. The Thar CRDe is powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine which develops maximum power of 105 Bhp at 3800 rpm and maximum torque of 247 Nm at 1800 rpm. Thar Di is also powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine which develops maximum power of 63 Bhp at 3200 rpm and maximum torque of 180 Nm at 1440 rpm. This new Mahindra Thar uses new generation independent torsion-bar front suspension system in Thar.

Mahindra Thar has an approach angle of 46 degree and a departure angle of 30 degree with 200mm (7 inches) ground clearance, so it clearly means business when it comes to off-roading. Also it comes with an auto-locking hub lock system which means four-wheel drive excursions needn’t require anyone to get out of the car to manually lock the front hubs. The power is supplied through 16 inch tires with leaf springs at the rear.

The latest two wheeler model to get into the Indian market is the new one from Mahindra, which is named as Mahindra Stallio. This new Mahindra Stallio features a dimension of 2000*720*1050 as the Lengh*Width*Height respectively. Mahindra Stallio features a conventional yet good looking design. The fuel tank design gives it a macho look and matte black finish alloys add on to the looks of Mahindra Stallio.

This new Mahindra Stallio has a sporty look and with displacement of 110cc, 4 stroke, air cooled, SI engine it produces maximum power of 7 bhp at 7500 rpm with maximum torque of 8 Nm at 5500 rpm. It also features a heavy mileage of 60 in the cities and about 73 in the highways. It features a Telescopic hydraulic-damped Suspension at the front and a 5-step adjustable, coiled hydraulic-damped Suspension at the rear. The major disadvantage remains to be the no option for disc brakes.

Mahindra Stallio also features a simple multi reflector headlamp and a LED tail lamp at the rear. The multi-reflector technology magnifies the range of throw of light, giving you greater visibility at night. The clear lens indicators are also designed for enhanced visibility. New Mahindra Xylo Car Details

Mahindra & Mahindra has announced that the New Mahindra XYLO Model(Ingenio) launched in india, in January. previously known as the Ingenio. Mahindra defines its New Mahindra Xylo as a vehicle that gives the ruggedness of the SUV, space of a MPV and luxury of a sedan. The New Mahindra Xylo comes with m-Eagle CRDe diesel engine, which will be later followed by a petrol engine (co-developed by AVL). The MUV Xylo will also come in an automatic transmission. The Mahindra Xylo has the same engine as that of Scorpio which generates 110 Bhp power at 3800rpm and 277.5Nm torque at 1700rpm. The Mahindra Xylo city mileage is 11.o kmpl and the Mahindra Xylo highway mileage is 14.0 kmpl. and The exterior looks of Mahindra Xylo is like the Toyota Innova, and the rear look is little less clean that the Innova. The stylish features are included in the Mahindra Xylo by an Italian design team.We can expect the Mahindra Xylo to be priced a bit lower than comparable versions of the Toyota Innova. It May be 4 like Mahindra Xylo E2, Mahindra Xylo E4, Mahindra Xylo E6, Mahindra Xylo E8. The base model Mahindra Xylo E2 comes with single AC, Power Windows, Power Steering. New Mahindra Xylo is also the only car to offer flatbed front seats, just like in the business class of a world-class airline. Additional unique features include foldable flight trays behind the front seats, individual reading lamps for each passenger and conveniently placed laptop and mobile charging points. One of the most revolutionary features of the New Mahindra Xylo is the tech-savvy Digital Drive Assist System (DDAS). An alphanumeric display in the centre panel, the DDAS has features such as an onboard computer to calculate mileage and distance permissible. The New Mahindra Xylo is Mahindra’s first foray into the multi purpose vehicle segment in India.
